Hello, I'm Sarah,

I'm a freelance illustrator & toy designer.

I absolutely love illustrating for kids, having picked up a pencil aged 3, and never put it down. My favourite subjects to draw are crazy animals, and kids leaping about and dancing.

 

I have worked for the last 29 years for International toy companies along with illustrating children's books for trade and educational publishing companies. I've worked in-house as a character development illustrator for a well known Bristol based animation company, and when I'm not drawing I love

creating needle felt characters.

 

I'm hardworking and fast and slightly off the wall. 

 

I live in the South West UK with my family and when I'm not drawing, designing or taxiing teenagers and feeding a fat cat,

I dance Argentine tango and help run a tango group in Bristol

and can be occasionally spotted as a background artist in the odd TV programme.
